Wisk’s internship experience is a 12 week, hands-on program. Our goal for our internship program is to see what it’s like to be a full time Wisk employee and complete meaningful work.We are looking for a Facilities Intern to join our team for summer 2025. The goal of a Facilities Intern at Wisk is to ensure that (all operation systems are fully functioning in all buildings. Space planning maps are all up to date, help out with coordinating operational needs, and assist with the project managers when help is needed ).

You will be part of the Facilities team that will be in charge of refurbishment, renovations, and office moves. Make sure the building is maintained and meets health and safety standards. Advise on energy efficiency, manage cleaning, waste disposal, catering, parking, and security as well as space planning as labs and office spaces change. Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an

onsite


opportunity. You will be required to work from our Mountain View office.

Responsibilities:


  • As part of the Facilities organization, and deployed in the Facilities team you will act as a Facilities Intern for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market 
  • You will help support problem-solving activities 
  • Oversee building maintenance and repairs 
  • Manage vendor relationships 
  • Budget for facility needs 
  • Coordinate facility programs and projects 
  • Supervise building personnel 
  • Analyze building data 
  • Forecast future needs 
  • Solve problems 
  • Communicate with others 
  • You will take part in site walks, and discuss various projects with stakeholders, Space planning, and assist with facilities technicians and project managers 

Requirements:


  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027 
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Facilities Management, business management, or supply chain and operations management 
  • Well-developed organizational skills with attention to detail. 
  • Must be able to perform tasks independently with limited supervision.
  • AutoCAD a plus 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; customer service oriented.
  • Excellent problem-solving and basic troubleshooting abilities are required. 
  • A strong candidate will ask questions, be self-motivated, have a strong initiative, and be passionate about working with and learning from others.

Hourly rate will be $25 USD an hour.This internship role will be based at Wisk's office in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.Eligibility Requirements For USMust be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CAYou must be legally authorized to work in the US for the duration of Internship.
