POSITION SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager is the FP&A lead for all corporate, non-brand specific functions and aspects of FULLBEAUTY Brands including Distribution Center, Contact Center, Outbound Shipping Revenue and Expense, Marketplace and International Channels, and Indirect G&A expenses. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Senior Financial Analysts to assist in supporting the broad scope. The key responsibilities of the role include providing in-depth analysis and reporting to identify efficiency and or cost/savings opportunities and to support business case analysis (cost/benefit and ROI calculations).
The Finance Manager will be expected to analyze and report metrics for private label credit card and loyalty programs, lead the budgeting and projection processes for all non-brand specific functions and perform ad hoc analysis per needs of the business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage team of associates responsible for the detailed financial reporting and analysis for direct (warehouse and call center), indirect and shipping revenue and shipping expenses
- Periodic (weekly and or monthly) analysis of operational metrics against expectations (budget, projection and LY) for direct expenses and shipping expense explaining variances and risks or opportunities
- Provide analytical support for RFP/RFQ and vendor negotiations in these areas
- Manage the preparation of the annual budget and projections by partnering with team to provide assumptions for operational KPI’s
- Build, maintain and update financial forecasting and budget models
- Maintain and analyze monthly International and Marketplace P&Ls; partner with operating teams to identify opportunities and drive growth and profitability
- Oversee the month end close process with proper accrual accounting and journal entries as well as review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Special projects and analysis as required for the needs of the business
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5 - 8 years of experience required, with 3 years management or supervisory experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working with large data sets (strong Microsoft Excel Skills)
- Operational mindset, strong analytical skills and experience serving as a key partner to the operating functions supported
- Tableau experience a plus
- Oracle knowledge and experience preferred
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Ability to multi-task and drive multiple tasks/responsibilities in parallel
- Must have the ability to create reports from independent data sources accurately and efficiently provide explanations for variances
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet challenging deadlines
