Description:
Responsible for supporting end-users, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth technology operations.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field a plus.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or Google IT Support Certificate a plus, but not required.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in an IT support role.
- 1+ years in a customer service related role.
Skills:
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and accurately.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
General Responsibilities:
- Quickly respond to and resolve technical issues via phone, email, chat, or in person while maintaining a polite and professional demeanor.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices with minimal downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripherals with high attention to detail.
- Efficiently manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions in Active Directory or other access management tools while ensuring data security and accuracy.
- Set up and maintain office equipment such as printers, scanners, and video conferencing systems, ensuring seamless operation.
- Provide precise technical support for data systems, tools, and processes, ensuring issues are resolved correctly the first time.
- Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures to improve efficiency.
- Assist with timely system updates, software rollouts, and IT infrastructure maintenance to minimize disruptions.
- Stay up to date with emerging IT trends and tools, proactively applying new knowledge to enhance system performance.
