hc1 is seeking a motivated and results-driven VP, Strategic Partnerships to join our dynamic sales team. It is essential that the candidate has a proven track record in Healthcare sales with an emphasis in laboratory software and professional services.The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lab strategies and workflows, healthcare regulations, and the technology landscape within the healthcare industry. This role requires a consultative sales approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.

You will be responsible for driving all stages of the sales cycle.

What you'll do:


  • Identify and target potential healthcare organizations, including hospitals, health systems, to promote our software and professional services solutions
  • Conduct assessments, financial analysis, and product demos to showcase how our software and standard clinical consulting services can improve lab operations and patient care
  • Develop the mid-range and short term business plans to support annual revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key hospital/health system decision-makers and stakeholders within prospective and existing clients (c-suite)
  • Align internal resources to address customer needs, ensure successful integration and adoption of selected solutions
  • Coordinate and drive new business activities from start to finish, including the execution of contracts
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes impacting healthcare technology
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond
  • National travel up to 50%
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you bring:


  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in direct sales in a healthcare environment
  • Strong understanding of healthcare landscape, preferably laboratory related, and software business
  • Direct experience creating and executing sales pipelines
  • Ability to set priorities and motivate internal and external teams to deliver agreed upon goals
  • Excellent communicator with strong collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve efficiently and effectively
