About AMP Memberships (an NCS Company)
We are a rapidly growing technology company based in Atlanta. Our marquis product, AMP Memberships, is a membership and loyalty platform for carwashes. Since we officially launched AMP, our products are active or coming soon at over 700 car wash locations. Our platform includes mobile apps, tablet apps, kiosks, web apps, and top-tier analytics support.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced individual to join our team as a Finance and Accounting Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial operations, including accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management and Reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure timely closing of accounting periods
Procurement and Operations Support
- Work with sales and operations to record and track customer orders, change orders, returns, and warranty claims
- Manage procurement and accounts payable
- Manage our hardware pricing sheet and quoting tool
Tax and Compliance
- File state and local sales taxes
- Provide support to our income tax preparers
- Ensure proper documentation retention
System and Process Management
- Oversee accounting / ERP system
- Maintain chart of accounts
- Implement system improvements
- Generate custom reports as needed
What
We Expect You to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with inventory and accrual accounting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup environment
Bonus Points and Street Cred for:
- CPA, CFA, or CMA certification
- Familiarity with sales and income tax preparation and filing
- Experience with ERP systems implementation
- Experience migrating from QuickBooks to NetSuite
- Experience managing accounts receivable or accounts payable
- Experience in the software, technology, or hardware/equipment industries
- Experience with forecasting and financial modeling
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
- MBA or other advanced degree
