Description:
Working within an enterprise GIS environment, this position is responsible for working with a team of individuals that perform GIS mapping, analysis, and data management in a fast-paced work environment.
Typical responsibilities/duties:
- Assists with database development and management
- Performs QA/QC checks on data, tables, and mapping
- Creates, edits, and maintains GIS data in an Enterprise system
- Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Respond to all internal and external client requests for information
- GIS mapping as it relates to facilities management
- Capable of learning new software, processes, and procedures as projects require
- Providing internal end-user support (analysis, cartographic support, spatial data transformation and management support, software training)
- Providing data acquisition services to the business
- Establishing/documenting and using database keys to link multiple databases together in a dynamic way for data synchronization
Qualifications:
Required
- Fundamental oil & gas industry knowledge and experience
- 5+ years’ experience in land/lease mapping
- Minimum of seven (7) years of related professional experience
- Attention to detail and ability to produce quality work
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high incidence of changing requirements and aggressive deadlines.
- ArcGIS Enterprise Experience
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Workflow automation with Model Builder, Python or FME
- Experience with facility mapping within the ArcGIS platform
- Fortune 500 GIS Enterprise Team Experience
Years’ Experience:
Minimum 7 years with 10 years preferred
Education Level:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or related field. Years of industry experience will be considered.Crescent Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
