Role Description
Strattmont is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Consultant to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. As an SEO Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online visibility of our clients’ websites and driving targeted traffic through comprehensive SEO strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO principles, from conducting audits and keyword research to implementing link-building strategies and optimizing website content for search engines.In addition to technical SEO skills, the role includes a content writing component.
You will be expected to collaborate with clients and the internal team to develop high-quality, SEO-friendly content that aligns with the overall digital marketing strategy. Your ability to craft compelling content that resonates with audiences while adhering to SEO best practices will be critical in achieving success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough SEO audits to identify opportunities for improving website performance.• Perform detailed keyword research to ensure content is optimized for relevant search terms.• Leverage web analytics tools to track and assess the performance of SEO campaigns, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.• Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority and enhance search engine rankings.• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine content for SEO optimization, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.• Implement and monitor on-page and off-page SEO techniques to improve overall website visibility and user experience.• Write and edit SEO-friendly content for blogs, landing pages, and other web assets that align with the overall marketing strategy.• Monitor and adapt to SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry updates to ensure strategies remain effective.• Provide clients with regular SEO reports and clear insights on the progress of ongoing campaigns.• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content creators, marketers, and designers, to ensure cohesive SEO strategies across all touchpoints.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in SEO audits, keyword research, and web analytics.• Strong understanding of link-building techniques and effective SEO marketing strategies.• Demonstrated ability to optimize website content for search engines, including meta tags, headings, and keywords.• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and others.• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.• Ability to collaborate effectively within a remote team environment, managing tasks independently and efficiently.• Experience in content writing for SEO, with the ability to create high-quality, engaging content that ranks well on search engines.• A degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred.• Experience in digital marketing or a related field is a plus, with a proven track record of success in SEO and content-driven campaigns.
