CG Life is a specialty marketing partner built for the unique challenges of bringing to market precision medicines for patients with rare and difficult-to-treat diseases. We are scientists, creatives, and marketers with a shared passion for translating science into brand experiences that drive results. 

Who Are You: 


CG Life is looking for aspiring marketing professionals to join our team as summer interns across four key groups. Through this opportunity, you'll gain essential skills in your chosen area (Paid Media, Account Management, Business Development, or Social Media), hands-on experience, and mentorship that will empower you to contribute meaningfully to work at our agency. You'll be involved in real tasks, attend team meetings, and gain proficiency within your assigned department, along with a strong understanding of how our agency operates. We are hiring interns in the following areas and offices (please be sure to let us know which internship you are applying for – candidates must reside in those cities): 

Business Development (Chicago):  


  • Support prospect identification and tracking of new opportunities. 
  • Assist with creating outreach email cadences. 
  • Support the Marketing Manager with agency marketing efforts. 

Account Management (San Diego):  


  • Assist with project briefs, campaign tracking, and competitive research.
  • Participate in client calls and internal strategy sessions.
  • Collaborate on reporting, performance metrics, and presentations. 

Paid Media (San Diego):  


  • Help with fielding, creating and deploying Media RFP.
  • Assist with trafficking ad placements for campaigns.
  • Research potential new channels for clients. 

Public Relations (New York City):


  • Assist with media list creation and news monitoring.
  • Conduct competitive analysis for PR team members.
  • Support with pitch letter creation and press release writing.

Social Media (New York City): 


  • Support with social media monitoring for client accounts.
  • Assist with gathering social analytics on performance metrics.
  • Scheduling content and drafting posts on various platforms. 

What to Expect:


  • 10-week, paid internship program (Tuesday, June 3 – Friday, August 8).
  • 35-40 hours per week.
  • Hybrid work schedule (candidate must be able to commute into the office for their desired role 2-3 days per week). 
  • Mentorship and guidance from agency professionals.
  • Collaborate on a group capstone project.

Requirements


What We Are Looking For: 


  • Aspiring marketers with a dedicated interest in life science, biopharma, and/or healthcare marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and contribute creatively to projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Hourly Rate: $20.00/hour 

Application Process & Timeline:

  • In your cover letter, introduce yourself and tell us why you! How are you the perfect match for your chosen role? Let us know your favorite scientist while you’re at it, too. 
  • Candidates selected for interviews will be contacted via email, and interviews will be in early April.
  • The interview process for candidates will be a:
  • Phone screen with HR (30 mins)
  • Department/Team interview (up to 60 mins) 
  • Selection decisions will be made by Monday, May 5.
