What is the role? 
dotCMS is currently seeking a Technical Talent Acquisition Lead. Technical Talent Acquisition Lead is the go-to-person for all hiring needs of the company. This is a full-time hybrid contractor position based in Karachi. The work schedule is from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time (UTC+05:00), with a one-hour break. We are currently unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of employment visas.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine selection criteria
  • Sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Plan interviews and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Assist in the design of job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements and the technical expertise required
  • Act as a brand ambassador for dotCMS that will foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
  • Utilize candidate sourcing tools such as job boards, LinkedIn, Technical networks and other sources to identity and hire appropriate candidates
  • Maintain and update dotCMS compensation philosophy for best practices and compensation ranges across all roles

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting in the SaaS or software development space that demonstrate a track record of sourcing and placing “A Players”

Additional desirable characteristics:

  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
  • Ability to quickly gain a keen understanding of the differences between various roles within the organization
