Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead the continued evolution of our clients’ user experience via intuitive, streamlined, and responsive user interfaces across our software platform. The right person for this role will have a strong mix of design expertise, leadership, and collaboration skills as a key contributor to our product development process and a driver of evolving our UX and Design capabilities. In this role, you will:
- Own user interface and interaction design and apply user-centered design and research methods to optimize user experience across our product portfolio.
- Design and model comprehensive user experiences, emphasizing user needs and problem-solving involving large sets of data.
- Develop clear user flows and detailed specifications to effectively demonstrate the user journey.
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams as features are defined and developed.
- Incorporate design feedback in an iterative approach with stakeholders.
- Produce quality research artifacts to articulate design tradeoffs using qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Evolve the AGDATA Design System to continue its contribution to consistent user experience and efficient UI development across our product portfolio.
- Align UX priorities, decisions, and deliverables production with business and product development priorities.
- Evangelize design best practices to increase our maturity on the UX-Maturity model
- Work with Marketing and other go-to-market stakeholders to create user experiences and related deliverables in alignment with our brand.
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in UX design, interaction design or similar concentration
- 12+ years of experience designing B2B user interfaces including design experience with dashboard/reporting UIs
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools, particularly Figma
- A bias toward and experience in applying user-centered design methods
- Familiarity with frameworks for measuring usability such as SUS and UMUX-Lite
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes and working across scrum teams
- Experience with web-based application front end development: React, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Kendo UI
