Job Summary:

Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Second Shift Press Brake Operator to join our team. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to form and bend metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with press brake operations, understands material properties, and can read and interpret blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate press brake machines according to job specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake machines.
  • Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders.
  • Handle raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating press brake machines.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of press brake operation, machine programming, and material properties.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Quality Focus: Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Preferred: Basic CAD experience and familiarity with laser cutting operations.
