K2United is seeking a Product Manager to join our Product Design team. Our ideal candidate understands both the design and development aspects of product development and has a knack for visualizing solutions to create customer value. Requirements
About You
You’re a technically capable strategic thinker who enjoys collaborative solutioning. Discernment is your superpower, and you excel at identifying the optimal balance between speed and quality. You have an extraordinary capacity for using product knowledge and an understanding of the problem being solved to prioritize impactful work and make reasonable tradeoffs. At a minimum, you have:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years relevant business experience
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Jira and creating well-written User Stories
Experience working in an Agile environment and using applications like Figma, Miro, and Confluence is a plus.
Your Impact
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to act as a liaison between the design and development teams, providing guidance on the balance between design and technical feasibility to ensure solutions meet both business and user needs. You’ll help keep design and development on track by articulating what success looks like for a product and rallying the team to turn vision into reality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding our users, including their motivations and pain points
- Recognizing how new products and features fulfill larger business objectives
- Actively soliciting issues from team members and stakeholders
- Prioritizing features and assessing user impact for proposed changes
- Breaking design initiatives into workable pieces and creating tickets for those pieces with minimal guidance
