What to expect on this role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer (NodeJS & React) at Blankfactor, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and deployment of web applications that deliver a seamless user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, build, and maintain robust and scalable solutions, utilizing your deep knowledge of NodeJS and React. In addition, you will be responsible for deploying these applications to AWS using Docker containers.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement end-to-end solutions using Node.js on the backend and React on the frontend.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle: design, develop, test, and deploy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create new features and functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and provide an excellent user experience.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications and Tech Proficiency
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, leading large projects on high-scale, distributed software systems as a software engineer.
- Proficient in full stack development with Node, Typescript / Javascript utilizing React or similar, and Ruby / Rails.
- Experience deploying applications to AWS using Docker containers.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and serverless architecture is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment.
