SUMMARY
The Payments Compliance Manager will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer for the money transmitter subsidiary of RealPage, Inc., also known as RealPage Payments Services (RPPS). This position manages regulatory exams, bank audits and remediation plans for the payments group while managing compliance with administrative filings for the MSB.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages bank audits, prepares internal audit requests, and completes pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables for regulatory exams, bank audits and independent reviews.
- Leads project plans as they relate to audit and exam remediations
- Contributes to the development and/or revisions of appropriate policies, and procedures, to ensure regulatory compliance
- Manages the preparation of key risk indicators and other compliance related statistics for reporting to the Board of Managers and Governance Committees.
- Onboards MSB control persons into NMLS and state agency portals; manages material change notifications in NMLS and state mailings
- Prepares and tracks regulatory complaint responses
- Provides subject matter expertise to advise internal stakeholders on compliance correction plans and activities in absence of Chief Compliance Officer
- Maintains MSB and Payments Compliance repository
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Minimum five years of money services business experience
- Minimum ten years of project management experience
- Proficient with MS Office
- Experience working in NMLS
- Minimum five years performing bank audits and or regulatory exams
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to work on confidential and sensitive matters with a high degree of professionalism and discretion
- Strong research skills
- Ability to train and self-motivate
- Strong organizational skills
- Minimum intermediate level with Teams, Share Point, Excel, Power Point
