These principles foster a vibrant workplace culture, where appreciation and a strong sense of community flourish.We are seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute a range of corporate events—both in-person and virtual—that align with our overall marketing and brand objectives.

The Event Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, and leadership) as well as external vendors to create exceptional event experiences that engage our target audience, generate leads, and reinforce our company’s brand value.

Responsibilities


Event Planning & Strategy


  • Develop and manage end-to-end event strategies (from concept to completion) for conferences, trade shows, roadshows, webinars, and other sponsored events.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to define event goals, target audiences, event formats, budgets, and KPIs.

Logistics Management


  • Identify and secure venues (physical or virtual platforms), manage site visits, and negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, speakers, and sponsors.
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including registration, catering, AV setup, promotional materials, and attendee communications.

Cross-functional Collaboration


  • Work closely with the Marketing team on event promotion, lead capture, and post-event follow-up strategies.
  • Partner with Sales teams to align event objectives with pipeline goals and customer engagement activities.
  • Liaise with Product Marketing, Creative, and Content teams to ensure event branding, messaging, and materials are consistent with corporate guidelines.

Budget & Vendor Management


  • Develop and manage event budgets; track expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with event vendors, agencies, and service providers (e.g., booth builders, design agencies, production teams).

On-site/Day-of Coordination


  • Oversee event setup, attendee registration, speaker schedules, and overall attendee experience.
  • Troubleshoot real-time issues (tech, operational, scheduling) and ensure smooth event execution.
  • Coordinate staff and volunteers to ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.

Measurement & Reporting


  • Track event metrics (attendance, lead quality, cost per lead, ROI) and compile post-event reports with recommendations for future improvements.
  • Gather and analyze feedback through attendee surveys or in-person discussions; share insights with relevant stakeholders.

Process Improvement


  • Continuously refine event processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging event technologies, and engagement strategies to enhance the overall event experience.

Requirements


Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in event planning, event marketing, or related roles (B2B technology or similar industry preferred).

Technical Skills


  • Proficiency in event management software/tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite), virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, ON24), and CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot).
  • Strong budget management and vendor negotiation skills.

Core Competencies


  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Team player with a creative, solution-oriented mindset.

Additional Considerations


  • Ability to travel for on-site event support up to 10% of the time
  • Experience in hybrid and virtual event execution is a plus.
  • Certification(s) in event planning or project management (e.g., CMP, PMP) are a bonus.
