Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an exceptional Director of FP&A to join our growing Finance team in Sunday Riley`s Headquarters. Your main areas of focus will be:FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support manufacturing operations, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Analyze production costs, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze historical financial data and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify areas of improvement.
BUDGETING and FORECASTING:
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare regular financial forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Ensure budgets align with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Identify and communicate potential financial risks and opportunities.
MANUFACTURING COST ANALYSIS:
- Analyze production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Monitor and report on variances between actual and budgeted manufacturing costs.
- Develop strategies to improve cost efficiencies and profitability.
FINANCIAL REPORTING:
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Provide variance analysis and explanations for deviations from budget/forecast.
STRATEGIC PLANNING:
- Work closely with senior management to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Provide financial insights to evaluate potential investments, projects, and business opportunities.
- Assist in evaluating the financial impact of strategic decisions.
- Provide financial insights to optimize product pricing strategies.
TEAM LEADERSHIP:
- Create, supervise, and mentor a team of financial analysts or associates.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide coaching and professional development opportunities.
- PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis.
Required Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus).
- Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in manufacturing and/or health and beauty industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards and principles.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial planning software.
- NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
