Role Overview:


We’re seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Marketing Development Analyst/Associate (MDA) to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be a crucial link between marketing and sales, responsible for generating qualified leads and fueling our sales pipeline. You will play a key role in identifying, nurturing, qualifying and tracking potential customers through targeted outreach and effective communication. This position heavily involves list management, lead qualification and Salesforce utilization.

What You'll be Doing:


  • List Management:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect lists using various data sources (e.g., CRM, marketing automation platforms, online research).
  • Segment lists based on demographics, industry, company size, and other relevant criteria for targeted campaigns.
  • Regularly clean and update lists to ensure data integrity and maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and refine targeting strategies.
  • Lead Qualification:
  • Proactively reach out to leads via phone, email, and social media to qualify their interest and needs.
  • Engage with inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns and website inquiries.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand prospect challenges and identify potential solutions.
  • Learn lead qualification techniques and methods
  • Accurately record and update contact and lead information in Salesforce.
  • Lead Nurturing:
  • Nurture leads through targeted email campaigns and personalized communication.
  • Provide valuable content and resources to educate prospects and build relationships.
  • Support manager in identifying and escalating qualified leads to the sales team for further follow-up.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align on lead generation strategies and goals.
  • Support manager in providing regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and pipeline contributions.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in lead generation and marketing automation.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve lead qualification processes and strategies.
  • Content Management:
  • Support content management across the business to enable colleague access to resources
  • Support Convr.com updates

Role Requirement:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a marketing role, preferably in campaign lead generation
  • Strong understanding of lead qualification methodologies (e.g., BANT).
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with prospects.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented and driven to achieve goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience within the P&C insurance industry is a plus!

  • The annual salary for this role falls within the range of $70,000 to $80,000. The final compensation will be determined based on factors such as location, experience, education, skills, and industry knowledge.
