C3 Industries, comprised of cultivation and manufacturing facilities (with products sold under the Cloud Cover & Galactic brand name) and retail locations (operated under the High Profile Cannabis Shop banner), is dedicated to masterfully crafting, branding and selling premium cannabis products in legal medical and recreational markets. A passion for cannabis combined with a desire to produce premium, high-quality products, drove the company’s founders to launch the business in 2017. Since that time, the company has quickly grown its operations to four states with vertically integrated operations consisting of approximately 250,000 square feet of cannabis production space and more than 30 retail dispensaries in various stages of development across all of its markets.

The company has raised significant capital to date, is profitable and fully funded for all of its current projects across its six-state footprint, and the platform is positioned to serve as a springboard for continued growth.

JOB SUMMARY:


The Business Development Department works across all areas of the company and pushes systems, process, & data improvements. The Business Development Junior Analyst will execute operational analysis activities for the company and provide supporting analytics to assist business leaders in decision making. This role will be responsible for creating reporting structures for all departments, with the focus being Retail, and prepare reports for the Director of Business Development to present to Leadership.

This role will be key in elevating C3’s data & analytics and expanding the company’s use of PowerBI for accessible data dashboards to drive improved, quicker decision making.

JOB DUTIES:


Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Become subject-matter expert on cross functional data and C3’s data systems
  • Prepare weekly & monthly reporting packages for C3 Leadership.
  • Advance weekly & monthly operational KPI reporting to support company initiatives and provide operational teams insight to make informed decisions.
  • Develop reports, presentations and ad hoc analyses, as requested.
  • Assist the Business Development Analyst on establishing long term reporting models for C3’s facilities, train end users, and transition ownership.
  • Assist with the preparation of executive team meeting materials.
  • Assist with implementation & adoption of new Business Intelligence reporting software and work across departments to create new operational reports and dashboards in the system.
  • Execute ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Director and/or Senior Leadership.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


None.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business or related field required; minimum two years of experience in a Consulting role, Data Analytics role, or similar employment with an analytical focus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, prior experience with large scale data modelling and presenting actionable insights from said data models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong computer skills; advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required to produce and effectively present in-depth analysis.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, report writing, and dashboard creation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to develop and implement operational best practices.
  • Good judgment in a fast-moving environment with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
  • Utmost attention to detail.
  • Passion for cannabis preferred
