This position is on site at Sunflower, which is a warm and friendly 55+ active adult HOA community. Located at the base of the Tucson Mountains, in Marana, Arizona, Sunflower has 967 individually owned homes. Residents enjoy access to a large private recreation complex that includes an outdoor spa, pool, state of the art fitness center, pickleball, bocce and sports courts.
Position Responsibilities:
Arrange and move multiple room furniture before & after meetings and events daily.
- Common area inspection each day & report any damage to include lobby level and pool area.
- Social room inspections after reserved usage.
- Front desk coverage as needed, including phones and access for residents/guests.
- Cleaning of all restrooms and locker rooms daily
- Maintain all floor surfaces including but not limited to wet mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
- Take all trash and recycle to bins each morning and check in the evenings.
- Cleaning trash bins monthly.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures throughout the facility.
- Monitor and replenish dispensers throughout the facility.
- Arrange and wipe down Pool furniture daily.
- Follow proper handling and mixture of various cleaning chemicals.
- Power washing pavers and tile monthly.
- Leaf blow outside patios and courts as needed.
- Other related duties as directed.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.

- Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to details.
- Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with staff and residents at all levels.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED and six (6) months of experience in a similar role completing light building maintenance, or hospitality duties.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Works indoors and outdoors.
- Requires physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, squat and bend.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, in crowded areas and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work on uneven surfaces, in hot, cold and wet conditions, climb and stand on ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs multiple times a day.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
