POSITION SUMMARY


  • The Facilities Associate II is responsible for supporting and assisting the Facilities Manager and Supervisor. This position will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the facility are in working order and clean. Priorities include sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, waxing, polishing, mopping, scrubbing, removing trash, equipment troubleshooting, and other duties necessary to maintain good housekeeping of the warehouse.  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Keep gloves, hairnets, beard nets, and booties stocked 
  • Keep facility floors clean – hallways, production rooms, open warehouse spaces 
  • Maintain clean cultivation entryway and locker hallway 
  • Periodically clean shoe bins in cultivation and production 
  • Collect departmental trash 
  • Ensure pallets are organized and wood pallets are removed from the building as soon as possible 
  • Keep cultivation sleeves and rags laundered 
  • Clean floor mats by the foot baths 
  • Adhere to industry standards and waste disposal procedures set forth by regulatory agencies 
  • Ensure every area and room is cared-for and inspected according to standards 
  • Coordinate with all departments to minimize/eliminate any potential disruptions to production workflow 
  • Ensure cleaning/sanitation supplies are stocked and available for use when needed 
  • Record and update sanitation schedule while reviewing progress and suggesting improvements to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager 
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and organizing of all warehouse areas including offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, break rooms, grounds, and production areas 
  • Assist in other duties as assigned, sometimes in production departments, to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success 
  • Support leadership and maintenance team in organizing employee meetings, engagement, and events 
  • Downtime will be spent supporting production or logistics team with labeling or other production tasks 
  • Follow all procedures according to local and state regulations and company policies 
  • Maintaining operational excellence at all workstations/areas 
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed  
  • Adapt to all changes in business needs and procedures 
  • Promote a respectful work environment in daily actions with fellow employees and job tasks as the #1 priority 
  • Follow reasonable instructions from leadership team showing flexibility with all delegated tasks 
  • Contribute to the team morale by ensuring the highest level of engagement is consistently applied   
  • Other duties as assigned   

SCHEDULE


  • Wednesday-Saturday 6:00am-4:30pm

COMPENSATION


  • $26 (Hourly, Non-Exempt) Paid Bi-Weekly Basis

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Mechanical/high speed Production equipment experience
  • HVAC, electrical, plumbing and lighting experience
  • Must be able to respond to emergency calls and work at least 1 day on the weekend
  • Cannabis industry experience, 1+ years (preferred).
  • Advanced communication, math, organizational, and computer skills. 
  • Dispensing organization agent identification card (able to obtain).

WORKING CONDITIONS


  • Work involves physical exertion such as bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), kneeling, squatting, pivoting, and carrying items/ product on a regular basis. Employees will be required to stand for extended periods and may need to climb ladders or operate equipment. The warehouse/ facility environment may be subject to hot and cold temperatures, and ventilation may not be available in all areas. The warehouse/ facility environment may be subject to elevated noise volumes due to equipment, machinery, and the movement of goods. The warehouse/ facility may be subject to dirt, dust, cleaning solutions, chemicals, and debris from the handling of goods. The warehouse/ facility may have safety hazards such as slippery floors, moving equipment, and the presence of hazardous materials. You will need to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
  • *NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairwells while traveling throughout the building.
