Healthcare Supply Chain Manager


in Atlanta, GA to reimagine, centralize, and optimize the critical supply chain and inventory processes that enable our healthcare delivery model. This is a newly created role reporting to the Director of Market Operations that promises immediate impact and offers significant opportunities for growth and influence. We're building the technology and clinical services platform to make preventive, connected healthcare accessible for everyone in the US. We deliver hybrid care (in-home + virtual) backed by data products across 15+ states, serving 60%+ of the US population through major health plans and systems.

As Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be at the helm of Sprinter Health’s inventory and supply chain operations. Your mission will be to design, optimize, and scale processes as well as build a team to ensure our clinicians, who we call Sprinters, have what they need—when and where they need it—to deliver exceptional patient care.From managing relationships with a multitude of vendors to establishing a new warehouse to developing standardized processes for proactive ordering and distribution, your work will be part of the operational backbone of our care delivery.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Clinical, and Product, to build a resilient and scalable supply chain department. QUALIFICATIONS


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and inventory management at a national scale in the medical / healthcare industry including at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Process Optimization: A track record of standardizing and scaling operational processes with tech enabled solutions.
  • Tech-Savviness: Proficiency with inventory management or supply chain management systems (e.g., Arbimed/Pulse, ERP tools) and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Leadership: Experience managing and growing teams as well as driving change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and experience working with diverse teams across an organization.
  • Experience in a healthcare startup preferred.
  • Experience working with software development teams preffered.
  • Familiarity with temperature-controlled shipping preffered.

$80,000 - $100,000 a year

ABOUT THE ROLE


1. Build and Optimize Supply Chain Operations:


-Manage existing vendor accounts and build new relationships to ensure we have competitive pricing and adequate allocations for all clinical supplies.-Organize and maintain a centralized supply warehouse leveraging a best in class inventory management system that you will help create.-Develop and implement a standardized fulfillment process for sending supplies from our central warehouse to clinicians (known as Sprinters) across the country.

2. Inventory Strategy and Execution:


-Anticipate and adjust periodic automatic replenishment (PAR) values based on business forecasts, utilization trends, product lifecycle, and clinical processes.-Streamline inventory lists across complex and varied markets with a focus on clinical quality and waste reduction.-Own the clinical supply budget in partnership with the finance department.-Conduct monthly inventory reviews to refresh stock counts and prioritize expiring supplies.

3. Leadership and Team Building:


-Work with the Director of Operations to establish SOPs and KPIs (e.g. Supply availability and accuracy, inventory turnover rate and waste, order fulfillment time, and total supply cost per appointment). -Implement processes for tracking and reporting on these metrics.-Hire and manage Fulfillment Specialists to keep pace with our growing business. -Provide ongoing training and education to Sprinters and operations staff on supply usage and ordering processes.

4. Process Improvement and Technology Integration:


-Partner with the Product and Engineering teams to improve supply management by leveraging our technology platform.-Monitor and address potential shipping delays, exploring innovative solutions like temperature-controlled warehousing.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:


-Collaborate with Operations Assistants (OAs) and Clinical Managers (CMs) to ensure seamless communication about changes in supply chain processes and inventory lists.-Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, aligning supply chain operations with broader company goals.
