What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to support go-to-market strategies.
- Assist in developing compelling messaging, positioning, and content for product launches, marketing campaigns and internal product education.
- Develop and conduct product training to sales and general internal audiences.
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product development and enhancements.
- Assist in the creation of buyer personas and customer journey maps.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for product marketing efforts.
- Monitor competitive products and provide analysis of strengths and weaknesses.
- Researching and developing an understanding of First Orion’s products, tools, and processes
- Promoting Continuous Improvement using customer, stakeholder, and business lead feedback, as well as intake of industry standard shifts
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business field (Marketing, or Business) or related degree programs (e.g. Instructional design) and/or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with market research methodologies and competitive analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to develop engaging content
- Technical aptitude to understand complex products and translate to customer-centric content
- Familiarity with product marketing concepts such as positioning, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams including but not limited to marketing, product management, and sales.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate findings
- Extensive analytic, business, and product-defining skills
Bonus Points:
- Telecom experience
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience in technology or SaaS industries.
- Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) tools or methodologies.
