Data Science Intern - Retail Media Management (RMM)


The RMM team at CommerceIQ is at the forefront of harnessing the power of data to shape decision-making processes and drive business outcomes. RMM team is responsible for developing methodologies to spend the advertising budgets of our clients in the most effective manner. We're looking for a talented and dedicated Data Science Intern to join us and contribute their skills, ideas, and passion for data to this dynamic team.

Position Summary:


The Data Science Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced data scientists in the Retail Media Management team. The intern will use Python, SQL, and our in-house tools to develop data science models to solve complex business problems like bid recommendations, campaign budget distribution, and more. This role includes performing detailed data analyses, scrutinizing results, executing proof-of-concepts (POCs), and deploying solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and refine data science models using Python and SQL to solve business problems.
  • Conduct thorough data analyses to extract meaningful insights and inform business decisions.
  • Develop methodologies to spend advertising budgets effectively for our clients.
  • Perform detailed validation and interpretation of model results and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Create proof-of-concepts to test and demonstrate new strategies or techniques.
  • Use in-house tools to deploy data science solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the RMM team, and participate in cross-functional projects as needed.

  • Required Qualifications:


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge of data science methodologies, principles, and techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to real-world business challenges using data science. If you're passionate about data and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.Off campus and must have github and computer science 80% and above grade, participation in hackathons, good to have is contribution to AI Copilot projects while in colleges.
