Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love. We’re hiring a Manager for our Collections and Support team, reporting to our Senior Manager of Revenue Operations.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and develop a team of Collections Representatives and Billing Support Representatives, ensuring work is completed in an accurate and timely manner in line with our SLAs
  • Review customer accounts to proactively communicate with customers and internal partners to ensure collection of all outstanding invoice totals
  • Prioritize and manage escalations by working closely with collection representatives and cross functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Respond to customer account inquiries and follow through to resolution in a timely manner
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, establishing and maintaining regular cadences to discuss, and track process improvements.
  • Post customer payments, refunds, and deposits by recording ACH and credit card transactions
  • Provide training and guidance to collection representatives on the end-to-end billing and collection process, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet operational goals.
  • Review and ensure that SOPs are current and lead efforts to streamline collection team deliverables for efficiency.
  • Take ownership of key deliverables, including publishing SLA dashboards and key highlights on a monthly basis to monitor performance
  • Consistently meet strict deadlines related to month-end close.
  • Demonstrate strong people management skills by developing, mentoring and fostering growth within the team.
  • Apply problem solving skills to address day-to-day collection operations issues and effectively manage the workload of collection representatives.
