This opportunity is a part of Blink's Embedded practice which supports long-term opportunities with some of Blink’s largest client partners. We are seeking an innovative and experienced Research Strategist with a strong background in Design Thinking and Customer Journey Redesign. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transforming customer experiences through research and insights uncovered and presented through various research instruments and methodologies.

Duration: Through December 2025


Location: Hybrid from Boston, MA


What you will be doing


  • Customer Journey Redesign:
  • Spearhead research process for the redesign of customer journeys to enhance operational efficiencies and end-user satisfaction.
  • Utilize Design Thinking methodologies to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement customer-centric solutions.
  • Map current and future-state journeys for business review and signoff.
  • Strategic Research:
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gather deep customer insights.
  • Analyze data to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation.
  • Develop and present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Design Thinking:
  • Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster creative solutions.
  • Apply Design Thinking principles to create value for customers.
  • Conduct in-depth-interviews with customers to create empathy maps for current-state scenarios and conduct interviews to test and validate ideas and iterate on designs with customers.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and UX teams to align research with business goals.
  • Communicate research insights effectively to influence decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships across department and with business stakeholders.

Your background


  • Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience Design Thinking and customer journey mapping
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
