About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software QA Engineer at Eagle Eye Networks, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud based video management system. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, implement, and execute test strategies that guarantee our products meet the highest standards.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- The requirement is for a hands-on and experienced tester.
- Should have experience with Python - is a must.
- Should have experience with Behave Framework - is a must.
- Knowledge of mobile browser automation - is a must.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Appium testing.
- The last 4-6 years should have been in Web and Mobile testing using Selenium Web Driver and Appium.
- Should have experience in mobile testing and setting up automation frameworks for this.
- Design, implementation, and delivery of scalable, maintainable, configurable and robust test automation frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and translate requirements and development stories into test scripts to ensure complete test coverage.
- Should have strong knowledge of continuous integration tools like Github.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, approaches, and test tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably with cloud based applications.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with video management systems or surveillance technology is a plus.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
