Edoxx Technical Services LLC is a US Company based in Houston, Texas, with access to +350 highly experienced and advanced Engineers and Technicians delivering know-how and expertise in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation engineering. Other related fields such as Projects Control, QA/QC Inspection, 3D Geometrical and Intelligent Modeling, and Drafting are also available.
We are seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the petrochemical or industrial sectors. Our ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and maintenance of structural systems for various projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all structural aspects of projects are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural components and systems for petrochemical plants and facilities.
- Perform structural integrity assessments and inspections for existing structures.
- Lead and collaborate with project teams to deliver engineering solutions within budget and on schedule.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and reports in compliance with industry codes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., ASCE, AISC, API, etc.).
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure design specifications are met.
- Provide technical expertise and support during the construction phase of projects.
- Assist with the preparation of project proposals and technical presentations to clients.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering, with a focus on petrochemical or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, SAP2000, RISA, etc.).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering codes and standards, including local regulations.
- Experience in performing structural analysis and designing foundations, steel, concrete, and other critical structural systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
