Position Summary:
CoreSphere, LLC (Bethesda, MD) seeks Senior Consultant to develop custom applications and perform testing using Salesforce Apex and Lightning Components.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for the application design, development, and support of Salesforce related projects.
- Will develop custom applications and perform testing using Salesforce Apex and Lightning Components.
- Will write, test, analyze and implement high-quality code according to specifications.
- Will follow Salesforce best practices and guidelines in implementing solutions, without creating technical debt and maintaining security in the application.
- Will build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develops a rapport with clients.
- Will research and keep current on Salesforce technologies and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective.
- Perform system administration, configuration, and support for Salesforce.
- Perform Existing System Maintenance activities for ongoing support for salesforce Applications using Visualforce/Apex, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and experience with SOQL and SOSL querying languages.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, Business Management or related field of endeavor + 5 years of custom Salesforce Development (Apex/VF/Aura/LWC), to include 5 Years of experience in service cloud, and 3 years of experience in sales and community cloud. In the alternative, will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, Business Management or related field of endeavor + 2 years of custom Salesforce Development (Apex/VF/Aura/LWC), to include 2 Years of experience in service cloud, and 2 years of experience in sales and community cloud.
Requires experience in data migration using Import wizard and Apex Data Loader; hands-on lightning experience for custom app development; proven experience with code management and best practice custom development. Must have thorough understanding of the Salesforce platform and be able to interact with business users to understand requirements to translate them into design specifications. Must have strong implementation and customization experience with Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing. Requires Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Admin I, and Platform Developer I. This is a client facing role. Must be able to pass a Public Trust background investigation. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Telework available. Less than 10% travel per year to unanticipated client sites..
