What you will be doing:
As a Network Evaluator, you will assess the security and resilience of operational and developmental networks and systems for U.S. government and military customers. You will evaluate these systems for vulnerabilities and susceptibility to network attacks, identifying potential weaknesses that could compromise their security. You will provide expert recommendations on countermeasures, including configuring commercial products, adding hardware or software solutions, and implementing security best practices.
Additionally, you will produce detailed evaluation reports and deliver clear and actionable briefings to customers, helping them enhance their network defense posture and mitigate risks effectively.
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

- Advise customers on countermeasures, including configuration of commercial products or hardware/software additions.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant Experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 8 or a Doctoral degree and 4 years of relevant Experience. Associates degree with 10 years of Experience with in-depth relevant Experience or at least 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in networking, computer science, or cyber topics plus 10 years of relevant Experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related fields (e.g. General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security.
- Relevant Experience must be working in a security domain (e.g. cyber security, network security, information systems security, information assurance, and computer security), programming, systems architecture, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, malware analysis, protocol analysis, network analysis, software analysis, debugging, and/or using network security intrusion or computer network diagnostic software utilities (e.g. SNORT or trace-route).
- Formal or informal leadership experience is preferred.
Certifications:
- Microsoft Networking, Computer Network Administrator (CNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certifications are preferred.
Clearance Required: Must possess an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role
