Position Description


The Senior Capital Markets Analyst will play a key role in analyzing and managing capital market activities, specifically in support of our company’s lending, M&A, Secondary Market sales activities and any other financing activities needed to support the general business operations and growth. This role will require very strong analytical and modeling skills while also interacting with key investors and financing partners.Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate the potential risks and rewards of various capital market opportunities and investments, including assessing macroeconomic factors, interest rates, market volatility, and geopolitical events.
  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to assess investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and financial forecasts. Build out complex cash models from various sources and uses of cash from our secondary sales, warehousing and other activities.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide advice on structuring capital raising activities (e.g., debt, equity, hybrid instruments) and investment strategies based on market conditions. Ability to review and provide feedback on term sheets and work on negotiations with financing partners.
  • Portfolio Management Support: Assist in managing investment portfolios, including analyzing the performance of securities and recommending changes to align with client objectives and risk tolerances.
  • Client Interaction: Work with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners to discuss investment strategies, portfolio performance, and market outlook. As well as support client reporting requests and audit requests for main investors and partners.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all capital market activities are compliant with local and international regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure investor and warehouse reporting is optimized and up to date to support investor and external partner client needs as well as internal needs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree (MBA or similar) and/or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3–7 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, asset management, or a related financial sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters, and similar platforms). Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to present complex financial information clearly to senior leadership, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to perform detailed financial analysis, spot market trends, and assess the impact of macroeconomic factors on investment strategies.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with an ability to work with large datasets and complex financial instruments.

Working Environment


  • Remote with occasional travel. Required travel to home office one to two times a year.
  • Collaborative team environment with frequent interaction with senior management, clients, and other departments.
