Description
The Technical Program Manager will be pivotal in crafting an integrated project plan and toolkit that ensures seamless end-to-end EHR implementation across inpatient, ambulatory, ancillary, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) settings. This role will spearhead the development of tools, processes, and assets for our Implementation as a Product offering, supporting our comprehensive EHR solution suite. As the Technical Program Manager, this role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, repeatable, and efficient implementation frameworks, enabling our customers to adopt and maximize the value of our EHR solution suite.

Essential Functions:
Develop Integrated Project Plan:
Design and maintain a comprehensive project plan that serves as the foundation for EHR implementation, covering all phases from discovery to go-live and optimization for inpatient, ambulatory, ancillary, and RCM solutions.
Create Implementation Assets:
Develop templates, checklists, workflows, and other tools to streamline implementation activities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client-specific needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Client Services teams to define requirements, align timelines, and deliver scalable solutions.
Drive Process Innovation:
Identify opportunities to optimize implementation processes, incorporating automation, advanced analytics, and streamlined workflows.
Risk and Quality Management:
Anticipate potential project risks and establish mitigation strategies to ensure successful and timely implementation.
Customer-Centric Approach:
Incorporate customer feedback and real-world challenges into the development of tools and processes to ensure they are practical, adaptable, and impactful.
Program Reporting:
Define and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of implementation processes, providing insights to leadership and stakeholders.
Knowledge Transfer:
Develop documentation and training materials to support internal teams and customers in adopting new tools and methodologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related technical field. 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager, experience in Software Development, EHR a huge plus. Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving clinical process improvement and healthcare information technology initiatives. Proven track record of leading complex, large-scale technology implementation projects. Familiarity with EHR systems, including inpatient, ambulatory, ancillary, and RCM components. Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and interoperability standards. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). The base salary range for this full-time position is $155,000 - $180,000.
Preferred Experience
Master’s degree in related field. 10 years experience as Project Manager Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain US Passport, DoD ADP and VA High Risk Background clearance, upon hire, required and must be maintained throughout employment.
Travel Requirements
Travel up to 25% of the time. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to commute to office on designated days.
Working Environment
Work Environment: Based in the San Diego office, this job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment. Low to moderate noise level. Occasionally hours may be long, early, late or include the weekend.
Physical Demands
Physical Demands: Ability to sit for long periods of time; manual dexterity to operate computer; vision requirements include ability to adjust focus, depth perception, peripheral vision, distance vision and close vision. Ability to hear, speak, read, answer telephone, reach, bend, stand, walk and stoop. Ability to lift 30 lbs.
