Sr. Systems Administrator

WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Systems Administrator to join our Corporate IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our company's IT infrastructure and services. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems, contributing to the overall success of our business operations.

THE DAY-TO-DAY


  • Administer and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, backups, storage, networks, and other critical systems.
  • Analyze system logs and identifies potential issues with computer systems.
  • Perform on-site and remote technical and network support when needed
  • Serve as an escalation point, offering technical guidance to Support Engineers

GREAT TO HAVE


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or a related field
  • Proven experience with Windows and Linux servers
  • Experience with virtualization technologies
  • Proficiency with major cloud provider platforms
  • Ability to write code in PowerShell, Python, Go, or other scripting languages
  • Knowledge of backup solutions and strategies for enterprise environments
  • Ability to identify and implement automation opportunities
  • Advanced working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and GPO's
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 11 and MacOS

$110,000 - $130,000 a yearBase: $110,000 - $130,000 a yearIn accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.  Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
