As a subject matter expert, this individual will administer expertise and guidance toward the following:
- Developing F-16 repair processes to perform F-16 depot level repairs and TCTO’s.
- Researching all relevant part numbers based on the specific Block and type version of the F-16.
- Developing reliable fastener and hardware list to perform an F-16 depot level repair or modification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Subject Matter Expert knowledge and expertise for development, marketing, and implementation of ES3 SHM applications onto United States military, FMS, and commercial customers
- Provide business development coordination and guidance associated with technology transfer of ES3 innovative aerospace solutions into potential Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial customers
Capabilities:
- Must have extensive knowledge of F-16 depot repairs such as Lower 341 Bulkhead replacements, main carry-through bulkhead replacements, Canopy Sill Longeron Replacements, Falcon STAR TCTO's like Lower 446 Bulkhead replacements, BL 19 longeron replacements, Upper Fuselage Skin Enhecements and Vertical Flaperon Skin Cut-Outs etc.
- Must be able to build part and fastener lists based on F-16 assembly drawings and ordering all necessary hardware (bits, reamers countersinks) to perform a specific F-16 repair.
- Must have the ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and F-16 tech data and drawings effectively.
Education & Experience Benchmarks:
- Must have 8+ years of depot level F-16 sheet metal experience.
- Must be able to review drawings and tech data on a computer and generate smooth flowing process for performing depot level repairs and put the information into PowerPoint or Word.
Additional Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- The ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Contractor Access Card (CAC)
Travel Requirements:
- May require CONUS and OCONUS travel to advise and assist technicians in performing depot level F-16 repairs.
