Damage Prevention
Product Manager to own the Irth Damage Prevention - Digtix platform. Our Damage Prevention solutions for critical network infrastructure are engineered to improve resilience and reduce risk in the sustainable delivery of utility, energy, telecommunication, and media services that millions of people rely on each day. Our vision is to blend business intelligence, analytics, and geospatial data together to provide the 360-degree situational awareness needed to mitigate and manage risk intelligently and proactively.
You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and update the Digtix product platform delivering on the company’s vision and strategy. Your role will be to work with development, operations, sales, and marketing to maintain and develop customer features that enable the delivery of a unified and integrated platform for existing operational data, supporting extending asset lifespan and minimizing downtime. We are seeking an individual who is willing to think out-of-the-box and desires to make a difference in the industry. We are looking for a process driven, strategic thinker who can understand the big picture, but also cares about the details.This position involves owning and monitoring the entire process of product development from the beginning to the end stage, working closely with a broad group of individuals in various departments within the company, and delivering product and results in a timely manner.
Requirements
Product Manager responsibilities include:
- Developing, managing, documenting, and maintaining the full release process on the Digtix Damage Prevention roadmap, including feature prioritization, and user stories.
- Meeting with customers to understand, own and translate Digtix requirements and features.
- Assisting development in managing and tracking the product backlog (including features and bugs), ensuring user stories are well-defined and prioritized accordingly.
- Conduct and/or participate in User Acceptance testing, to ensure features are meeting requirements.
- Gaining a deep understanding of industry and customer damage prevention and related teams experience and process.
- Facilitate cross-team communication and awareness of product direction and updates.
- Participate in roadmap discussions to provide updates to leadership on product progress.
- Representing the company by engaging customers and industry events to solicit feedback on company products and services.
- Researching, documenting and gap analysis on the competitive landscape.
- Managing product launches by working closely with the relevant cross functional teams.
- Scoping and prioritizing activities according to customer and business impact.
- Working closely with development and data science teams to deliver with a quick time-to-market cadence.
- Driving revenue by working with sales and related teams.
Requirements and skills
- Damage Prevention experience preferred.
- Proven success in product management with 2+ years of direct product management experience and development delivery.
- Knowledge of product life cycle management and frameworks, including sprint planning and release management.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in agile software development (Microsoft DevOps preferred) and web technologies preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective at collaborating with cross functional remote teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Project Manager or a Scrum Master certification would be an asset.
