50% within assigned territoryAs a Pre-Sales Enterprise Systems Engineer, you will be pivotal in driving our sales initiatives by focusing on our strategic enterprise accounts. Your deep technical expertise and strategic insight will enable you to understand complex customer needs, craft tailored solutions and effectively communicate the value of our offerings to key decision-makers. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, technically competent Veeam Systems Engineer who can partner with other Veeam teams to close sales.

This role requires expertise in defining architectural strategies and guiding customers toward adopting Veeam technologies.We are looking for a driven, passionate individual who excels as a team player and is committed to delivering value that addresses our customers' challenges. This person must have proven Enterprise Excellence, a strong ability to advocate for their customers, and the expertise to focus on solving problems. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored for C-level audiences, clearly articulating how our solutions can drive business transformation and deliver measurable value.

  • Implement and manage POVs (Proof of Values) to closure, demonstrating Veeam's solutions' capabilities in real-world environments.

  • Support lead-generation activities like events, webinars, and user groups to generate new business opportunities and build strong customer relationships.

  • Collaborate with customers and partners to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements, ensuring Veeam solutions meet their needs.

  • Independently consult with customers to provide technical expertise on data resiliency and help them navigate complex challenges.

  • Collaborate with customers to ensure their data is safeguarded from malicious actors, incorporating best practices in incident response and leveraging Veeam's resiliency solutions to prevent, detect, and recover from potential security breaches.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape, positioning our offerings effectively against competitors in discussions with senior leadership.

  • Maintain a customer-first mindset by advocating for solutions that genuinely address customer pain points and provide long-term value.

Requirements:


  • 7+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer role, explicitly engaging with large enterprise accounts.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading pre-sales efforts within large accounts and driving sales growth through strategic engagement with leadership.

  • Experience creating tailored proposals and responding to RFPs for enterprise accounts.

  • Industry experience in storage, networking, security, and virtualization.

  • Industry experience with cloud and SaaS solutions. 

  • In-depth knowledge of top accounts in the Toronto area and surrounding regions.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to large groups and C-level executives.

  • A high-energy, motivated self-starter with a quick ability to learn new technologies and navigate complex technical environments.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (both written and spoken).
