As a Technical Consultant - Hosting and Data Migration at FreeBalance, you will have the
opportunity to contribute to our on-going success by delivering quality and timelytechnical services during the implementation, roll-out, support and sustenance of ourproducts to our customers for all project deployments. Drawing upon your technical /systems / product / database / solutions expertise and serve as a subject matter expertfor technical analysis and specification efforts.
Main responsibilities:
- Analyze customer requirements and challenges related to hosting and data migration, providing tailored solutions.
- Assess technical requirements and configure FreeBalance software to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Understand clients' existing hosting infrastructure and recommend optimizations for improved efficiency and security.
- Lead data migration efforts, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Act as the primary technical contact for clients during hosting setup, data migration, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support to government entities for hosting and data migration-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in hosting and migration processes.
- Ability to travel locally as needed.
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Development, or a related field.
- Knowledge of enterprise hardware systems, networks, application software, and database systems is an asset.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong client management and organizational skills.
- MUST read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently.
