If this sounds like an environment where you’d thrive, read on. As the Engineering Manager - Frontend, you will lead and mentor a talented team of frontend software engineers, driving the development of beautiful and delightful user experiences for strongDM's products.

You will collaborate closely with Product and Design to ensure a cohesive and engaging user journey. You will foster a culture of innovation and excellence within your team, promoting growth and development.

What you'll Do:


  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of front-end software engineers.
  • Own the frontend function at StrongDM, setting the technical direction and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Partner with Product and Design to define and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Champion frontend development best practices and standards.
  • Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Provide regular feedback and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development of StrongDM's engineering culture and best practices.

Requirements:


  • 7+ years of experience in frontend development with expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript, TypeScript).
  • 2+ years of experience managing and leading software engineering teams.
  • A passion for building beautiful, user-friendly, and accessible web applications.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and user experience best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with remote teams preferred.

Compensation


  • $180,000-230,000 + equity salary packages
  • Company-sponsored benefits, including:
