We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Practice Lead to lead the Media and Entertainment practice, driving growth within this key vertical. This leader will oversee existing accounts, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure the delivery of world-class consulting solutions. Acting as a “mini-CEO” for the vertical, this individual will be instrumental in shaping strategy, overseeing the P&L, and fostering a high-performing team. The Practice Lead will have the opportunity to significantly impact a rapidly growing organization with an unmatched partnership in the data and analytics space.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set the strategic vision for the Media and Entertainment practice, focusing on growth within key accounts in gaming, traditional entertainment, and sports betting.
- Manage and partner with engagement leaders and principal architects to expand revenue within existing accounts, leveraging strong relationships with Databricks and other partners. Focus on “land and expand” strategies to drive account growth and client satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, collaborating on strategic initiatives and ensuring delivery excellence. Assist in pitching value propositions and closing large enterprise deals.
- Experience developing strategies and offerings to grow and expand in accounts by selling through delivery.
- Oversee the practice’s financial performance, including managing revenue goals, team utilization, and profitability for the vertical.
- Lead and mentor a team of consultants, engagement leaders, and architects. Support recruitment efforts to scale the team as the practice grows.
- Work cross-functionally with the delivery team to ensure seamless execution and high-quality project outcomes.
- Partner with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for expanding within strategic accounts, targeting multi-million-dollar enterprise opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in consulting, with a focus on managing accounts and growing revenue.
- Experience with Databricks or other data and AI platforms is a requirement.
- Proven ability to manage and grow enterprise accounts in media, entertainment, gaming, or sports betting industries preferred
- Strong P&L management skills, with experience setting and achieving revenue and growth targets.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to grow accounts and drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Background in consulting firms like Big 4 is highly preferred.
- Excellent client engagement and relationship-building skills, with a track record of delivering exceptional results.
