As a People and Culture Specialist at Flipster
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented People and Culture specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our employees across various aspects of the HR lifecycle. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, HRIS management, and more. You will also be involved in employee engagement initiatives and compensation and benefits administration.
Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle:
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Administer the probationary period follow-up process.
- Administer leave management for various leave types (annual leave, sick leave, etc.).
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system and assist in data integrity checks.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Payroll preparation
- Manage testing allowance management & distribution.
- Employee Engagement:
- Support conducting eNPS surveys.
- Coordinate All-hands meetings and engagement eventsÂ
- International Considerations:
- Manage IC reimbursements.Â
- Respond to IC inquiries.
- Assist IC Onboarding & Offboarding
- Employee Relations:
- Coordinate Culture Day activities.
- Coordinate an employee recognition program (e.g., Core Value Ambassador).
- Provide day-to-day support by responding to employee queries on various topics (e.g., second jobs, workations, salary decisions, working from home due to medical conditions).
- Data & Reporting:
- Generate HR reports and analytics (e.g., attrition, leave trends, payroll metrics).
- Compliance & HR Operations:
- Ensure HR policies comply with local labor laws and company regulations.
- Assist in audits and compliance checks related to HR documentation and practices.
- Monitor and update HR policies and employee handbooks as needed.
- Support HR process improvements through automation or system enhancements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1 to maximum 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Experience of HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and HRIS systems (a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a positive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for HR.
- Business Level English and Korean, both written and verbal
