Embedded Software Engineering Interns

Kranze Technology Solutions, Inc is currently seeing a Software Engineering Intern with a focus on embedded programming for the Summer of 2025. 

Responsibilities:


  • Work with system architects and software engineers to generate and maintain software running on embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to bring new features and testing into production and release.
  • Assist with system integration, verification and validation, and effectiveness analysis.

Qualification and Skills:


  • College courses in support of a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related field with one or more years of college experience (Sophomores, Juniors).
  • Some experience with Python, C, C++, or other high level programming language.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented software design and implementation.
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

The candidate has demonstrated architecture development or integration of various systems on multiple aircraft platforms. The candidate will work with the software team to define system interfaces, communicate with suppliers and customers, and develop technical solutions. The candidate must be able to work without supervision, contribute innovative ideas to improve products, and lead integration efforts. Software Engineers: Candidate should be able to perform on a technical team to develop software solutions using the latest technologies. The candidate poses a technical and integration background. The candidate has demonstrated software development on various platforms on various systems (ideally of aircraft systems).
