Position Summary
Technicut Tool (TCT), a CMT company, is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Engineering Manager for our Windsor, Ontario location. The
CNC Manufacturing Engineering Manager
will act as the onsite expert regarding best practices; As part of the Engineering team, this position will drive operational excellence and implement best practices to drive stretched objectives. *This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm. The annual salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000 CAD/year depending on experience*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical resource for the shop floor, troubleshooting issues and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
- Verify and launch all shop floor work orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness before release.
- Lead initiatives for continuous process improvements, optimizing efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Drive research & development efforts, implementing innovative solutions for manufacturing challenges.
- Serve as a key point of contact for technical customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
- Lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a seamless transition into production.
- Supervise and mentor a team of three senior engineers (15+ years of experience), providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering team environment.
- Participate in all Material Review Board (MRB) meetings, contributing technical expertise and resolution strategies.
- Ensure the department remains audit-ready by maintaining compliance with internal and external quality standards.
- Uphold and enforce site-wide operational and safety best practices.
- Act as a key leader within the facility, driving engineering excellence and aligning with company goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- 15+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 15+ years of experience interpreting and addressing customer blueprint requests.
- 10+ years of experience in an AS9100 or similar quality-controlled environment.
- 15+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
- 10+ years of project management experience.
- 15+ years of experience with Cimatron (CAD) or similar software.
- 15+ years of experience in CAD surfacing and solid modeling.
- 15+ years of experience using MS365 and GD&T.
- 15+ years of experience with JobBoss or similar ERP systems.
- 15+ years of experience in technical reading, writing, and documentation.
- 15+ years of experience developing AS9100 FAI documentation using DISCUS software.
