About the Role
We're looking for an exceptional Director of Finance to join our leadership team as a right-hand partner to our Head of Finance and CEO. In this critical role, you'll help drive our next phase of growth by supporting strategic decision-making, leading key financial initiatives, and ensuring our financial foundation enables sustainable growth. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on our company's trajectory while working directly with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Head of Finance and CEO to drive strategic financial planning and decision-making
- Support the development and execution of financial strategy, resource allocation, and growth initiatives
- Lead sophisticated financial modeling and analysis to evaluate business decisions, product initiatives, and growth opportunities
- Build and implement scalable financial systems and processes that enable real-time decision-making without slowing execution
- Drive financial discipline across the organization, ensuring accuracy in all financial data and operations
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities 6-12 months ahead, providing strategic recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate across departments to integrate financial strategy into their operations
- Support fundraising efforts across equity, debt, and alternative financing options
- Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations for the board, investors, and executive team
- Track and optimize key marketplace metrics including revenue retention, profitability margins, and unit economics
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all financial covenants and regulatory requirements
What You’ll Need
- 7+ years of finance experience in high-growth environments
- Outstanding financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Deep understanding of marketplace business models and operational metrics
- Experience supporting fundraising and capital structure optimization
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Track record of building and scaling finance processes
