Duties and Role

• Works with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations.
• Maintains item and inventory management records.
• Helps minimize bottlenecks and delays and the resulting impact on operating costs.
• Uses real-time inventory software, with guidance, to move supplies where needed, when needed.
• Assists in resolving issues related to physical space management.

Inventory Management - GCF

• Performs the receiving, ticketing, checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location.
• Produces basic inventory management reports for senior staff to reconcile the inventory balances.
• Tracks inventory information for a specific product group or location.
• Works with basic tasks of inventory management for a specific location.
• Follows processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies.

Logistics Management - GCF

• Uses tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance. • Works with logistics in a domestic environment.
• Maintains records of all shipments and invoices using an established system.
• Assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity.
• Participates in integrating logistics processes and developing effective networks.

Supply Chain Management - GCF

• Recognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain.
• Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
• Discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions.
• Summarizes supply chain considerations for different types of products

Requirements

• NATO Secret security clearance
• Vocational training at a higher level, in a revelant discipline, leading to a professional qualification or equivalent combination of appropriate national qualifications and experience in Supply or Logistics Management, Warehousing, or Chain Management;
• Knowledge of NATO Logistics Regulations;
• Practical experience in the use of PC based NATO resource management tools;
• Knoweldge of the Italian Law in terms of ROS And Disposal of items.
• Usage fo Windows tools( excel, word, power,point)
• Usage of EBA and Cable solve tools.
• Professional usage of WIndows applications
