If so, then we invite you to apply to AutoCamp to join our adventure.We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join our team. The Corporate Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting functions for the hotel management company, development funds and construction. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementation of financial controls and procedures. AutoCamp has revolutionized alternative lodging by blending the traditional outdoor experience with the service- and design-forward thinking of a boutique hotel.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, accounting, and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with USALI, GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Develop and manage financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements.
  • Lead and manage the accounting team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely completion of audits and filings.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial risks.
  • Implement financial systems and process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support overall business goals and financial planning.

RequirementsQualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, USALI, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing accounting teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in hospitality corporate finance is required.
  • Strong background in process improvement and financial system implementations.

Work Environment:This role operates in a 100% remote environment with occasional travel for business needs. The Corporate Controller reports directly to the VP of Finance & Accounting and works closely with senior leadership across departments.Salary DescriptionStarting at $185,000 per year, plus benefits
