Business Development Operations Lead

Business Development Operations Lead- El Segundo, CAAs a Business Development Operations Lead, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities by identifying potential partners, markets, and sales strategies to drive the company’s growth to new opportunities. Additionally, you will work on overseeing and optimizing sales operations to ensure the effectiveness of the sales team. You will work cross- collaboratively with the marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment with sales strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and tactical environments and is eager to help drive both sales and business growth. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Conduct research to identify new markets, industry trends, and potential business opportunities.
  • Monitor industry competition, trends, and market dynamics to refine strategies.
  • Prepare and collaborate on sales presentations, proposals, and business pitches to potential clients.
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Identify potential partners, including clients, vendors, and service providers to grow the business strategically.
  • Identify strategy to maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Streamline and improve sales processes, ensuring efficiency in managing leads, opportunities, and deals.
  • Analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and create reports for the sales leadership to drive strategic decisions.
  • Ensure that the customer relationship management (CRM) system is properly utilized, up-to-date, and effectively used by the sales team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, business development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, lead generation, and sales processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with sales forecasting, performance metrics, and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Aviation/aerospace and/or defense industry experience
  • Master’s degree or advanced certification in Business, Marketing, or Sales.
  • Proven track record in generating new business and growing sales
