Job Overview
We are a dynamic, U.S.-based web development and marketing agency seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our team. Success in this role means delivering meticulously crafted, creative designs that align seamlessly with the needs of our U.S. clients while collaborating effortlessly with our international marketing team.This is a part-time position, Monday to Friday, from 7 PM to 11 PM local time. You’ll work closely with a diverse, international team of marketers and developers, contributing to projects for medium-sized, U.S.-based B2C businesses specializing in the finance, legal, and accounting sectors.
Your keen eye for aesthetics and dedication to user-centric design will ensure that every visual and interaction meets the highest creative standards.This role offers a unique opportunity to refine your expertise, gain valuable exposure to the U.S. market, and work in a flexible, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Prototype: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that align with client branding and user experience best practices.User-Centered Approach: Conduct basic user research or use analytics insights (e.g., GA4 data) to inform and refine your designs for optimal usability.Collaborate with Team: Work closely with developers, UX writers, and project managers (via ClickUp) to implement designs and iterate based on feedback.Consistency and Accessibility: Ensure a consistent look-and-feel across all pages and that designs follow accessibility standards for a broad user base.Client Industry Focus: Tailor design elements to suit professional industries (finance, law, accounting) while keeping interfaces engaging and easy to navigate.Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in UX/UI design (portfolio or 2+ years of work) demonstrating user-friendly, modern interface designs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, and a solid understanding of responsive design and basic HTML/CSS.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills, comfortable with American vernacular and collaborating with a US-based team remotely.
- User-Centric Mindset: Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and attention to detail in crafting intuitive user journeys.
- Time Management: Ability to work part-time evening hours and meet deadlines reliably, managing tasks through tools like ClickUp.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – ability to interpret user behavior data to inform design improvements.
- Knowledge of basic front-end concepts (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to communicate effectively with developers or implement minor tweaks.
- Experience designing for B2C industries such as finance, law, or accounting, or an eagerness to quickly learn about these fields’ audience needs.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability when incorporating feedback or changing requirements.
- Exposure to SEO principles or tools like Ahrefs – understanding how design and content placement can affect search optimization is a plus.
