About The Team:
As a fundamental part of CookUnity’s platform, Horizon enables different business models, subscription plans, and order management, ensuring a seamless experience for all users. The Full Stack team is responsible for building and maintaining end-to-end solutions that bridge the gap between an intuitive frontend experience and a robust, scalable backend.The team is responsible for two key areas:
Developing and Optimizing Subscription and Order Experiences: Full Stack engineers ensure that users can explore, manage, and subscribe to different plans effortlessly while maintaining a seamless order creation and management experience. This involves working on frontend interfaces, enhancing UI/UX, and optimizing interactions with backend services to improve engagement and performance.Ensuring Scalable and Reliable Order Processing: As the source of truth for user orders, Horizon’s Full Stack engineers are responsible for integrating frontend and backend systems to guarantee order integrity, execute autopilot processes, manage skips, and validate delivery eligibility. They work on critical functionalities that ensure stability and accuracy across the platform.By combining expertise in frontend development, backend infrastructure, and system integrations, the Horizon Full Stack Team plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless and reliable experience for users while ensuring operational excellence across CookUnity.
The Role:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Horizon Squad, directly reporting to the Engineering Manager.Collaborating closely with a Product Manager and a designer, you'll co-lead the squad to shape the product strategy, define OKRs, and chart the roadmap. Your responsibilities will extend to maintaining regular communication with senior management, providing updates on status, risk assessment, and the broader product strategy.This position offers an opportunity to drive meaningful impact within our team and organization, contributing your expertise to guide our product's growth and success.

- Frameworks: ReactJS, Redux, NodeJS, Express, GraphQL.
- Databases: MySQL & PostgreSQL.
- Infrastructure: AWS Based: Kubernetes, S3, CloudFront and RDS.

Responsibilities:
- Owning the design and implementation of platform features within our JavaScript stack that engages customers and has a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
- Iterating on new and existing features to improve user experience and performance.
- Actively contribute to the adoption of strong software architecture, development of best practices, and new technologies.
- Improving the maturity of our technical stack with engineering best practices.
- Being part of the code review process and helping to mentor other engineers.
- Contribute technically to projects by being a hands-on coder, removing roadblocks, and repairing technical issues.
- Partner with members of Product, UX, and other teams to continually refine and improve our product in an agile process.
- Helping to have higher levels of uptime & supporting the on-call rotation that will help the business run 24/7.
Minimum Requirements:
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, and you can engage with projects in ReactJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, MySQL, and TypeScript.
- You have experience designing and building cloud architecture, backends, middle ends, web apps, basically the whole combo!
- Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests and e2e tests.
- Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
- You understand how to interact with and build backend REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Advanced level of English.
Preferred Requirements:
- You're proficient in relational database management.
- Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes/CI environments.
- You enjoy working in small teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring teams is highly valued.
