Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Biomedical R&D Engineer to join our team and drive the development of innovative medical technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in researching, designing, and testing biomedical devices and solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform scientific research into tangible products that improve healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Research & Development: Conduct cutting-edge research in biomedical engineering, focusing on the development and improvement of medical devices, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
  • Design & Prototyping: Collaborate with product design teams to create prototype models for new biomedical products. Utilize CAD software and other tools to design functional and manufacturable devices.
  • Testing & Analysis: Perform rigorous testing of prototypes and devices, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and performance criteria. Analyze test data and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Product Optimization: Continuously improve existing biomedical technologies by analyzing user feedback and research trends. Develop solutions for performance enhancement and cost reduction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs and prototypes comply with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, CE). Prepare and review documentation necessary for regulatory submissions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical professionals, regulatory bodies, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure that products meet clinical needs and specifications.
  • Innovation: Stay current with trends in biomedical technology and research. Suggest and implement new approaches to enhance product development processes.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Identify technical challenges, provide solutions, and work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in biomedical engineering, product development, or related field. Experience in medical device design and testing is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and simulation tools.
  • Experience with materials science, biomaterials, and biocompatibility testing.
  • Solid understanding of bioengineering principles, signal processing, and sensors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
