Job Summary:
As a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern, you will work under the mentorship of Juvare’s Cybersecurity Specialist to analyze, interpret, and address the risks faced by global organizations in the modern security landscape. You will gain experience with industry tools, nominal SOC operations, and the policy frameworks required to ensure a secure environment for identities and devices. Your duties will include:
- Assess threat intelligence data from various sources and interpret potential risk factors within the context of your environment.
- Investigate and respond to a wide range of endpoint and identity detections & alerts.
- Analyze vulnerability assessment results and implement patch strategies to mitigate new and existing CVE’s & Attack Vectors.
- Perform gap analysis on protection frameworks to proactively strengthen access policies.
- Recommend new and innovative ways to respond to emerging threats in your environment.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
- Currently a Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A passion for Cybersecurity and willingness to dive into a fast-paced and dynamic industry.
- A strong analytical mindset and ability to grasp high-level concepts that branch across several interconnected systems.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills with an aptitude to look beyond, ask questions, and conduct independent research.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
