We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to deliver cutting-edge BI and Smart Apps solutions to our global customer base. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of data analysis, mathematics, and statistics, and a passion for leveraging machine learning to uncover insights that optimize customer operations.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deploy, configure, customize, and maintain cloud-based Business Intelligence (BI) and Smart Apps solutions for a diverse global customer base.
  • Deliver planned and ad-hoc data-driven insights to support various customer projects.
  • Design and implement data visualizations to present insights effectively.
  • Develop customer-specific reports, dashboards, and applications using tools such as Power BI.
  • Generate reports using Crystal Reports and iReports to meet customer needs.
  • Propose and implement data-driven solutions to address complex business challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that drive business improvements.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to provide comprehensive, actionable insights.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with customers to identify needs and refine solutions.

Qualifications:


  • Over 6 years of experience in databases, ETL, data streaming to the cloud, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and experience building advanced reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with Kafka, Pentaho Kettle, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Familiarity with Kaleris N4 and Kaleris XPS is highly advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of machine learning and/or operations research is preferred.
  • Expertise in R, SQL, Python; familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advanced math skills, including statistics and algebra.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities, with the capability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting complex data insights clearly and effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a graduate degree in Data Science or another quantitative discipline is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites worldwide.
